About the role

Our engagements range from a three-month gap analysis to multi-year programmes covering ISO 27001, DORA and network redesign at once. Larger engagements need a project manager who understands security well enough to plan it realistically. This role does that for clients in Switzerland and Germany. You build plans, manage risks and dependencies, run status meetings and steering committees, and keep budgets on track. You work with our consultants, engineers and client programme offices.

What you will do

• Plan engagements with clear scope, milestones, resources and budgets
• Coordinate Alpwacht consultants, client teams and third-party suppliers
• Track risks, issues and dependencies and escalate in good time
• Prepare status reports and steering committee material for client management
• Manage change requests and engagement closure, including lessons learned

What you bring

• 4+ years managing IT or security projects, ideally in a consulting setting
• Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 or HERMES
• Working understanding of information security and regulatory programmes
• Experience with both agile and phased delivery models
• Professional German and English

Good to have

• Experience with programmes in Swiss banking or insurance
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence and MS Project
