About the role
A cyber attack is often the event that tests continuity plans most severely, but the plans themselves have to cover much more: supplier failure, loss of a site, power outages. This role helps clients prepare for all of it. You run business impact analyses, write continuity and recovery plans and set up crisis management teams with clear roles. You work with our incident response and governance consultants and with client operations, IT and communications staff.
What you will do
- Conduct business impact analyses and define recovery time and recovery point objectives
- Write business continuity, IT service continuity and crisis communication plans
- Set up crisis management structures, escalation paths and decision logs
- Design and facilitate tabletop and simulation exercises, including cyber scenarios
- Align continuity work with ISO 22301, DORA, FINMA and NIS2 requirements
What you bring
- 3+ years in business continuity, crisis management or operational resilience
- Good knowledge of ISO 22301 and the BCI Good Practice Guidelines
- Experience facilitating exercises with senior management
- Structured writing and calm facilitation skills
- Professional German and English
Good to have
- CBCI or ISO 22301 Lead Implementer certification
- Experience in financial services, healthcare or critical infrastructure
